Since the age of 7, he has studied under the careful guidance of Ustad Harjinder Pal Singh and has developed a unique approach to traditional Indian Classical Music through the development of rhythmical and melodic improvisation. ⁠⁠

Jeevan Singh will provide rhythmic accompaniment on the tabla. He is a final year software engineering student who has been learning tabla since the age of 6 under the guidance of Bhupinder Singh Chaggar.⁠

This is part of the DMU Indian Classical Music series – a concert programme run in partnership between DMU Music and Darbar Arts and Heritage Trust, bringing Indian classical music to De Montfort University through a series of concerts, open to staff, students and the local community.
